How to get the best out of your photo session:

You want your pet remembered looking his/her best.  "Haircut" dogs (i.e. Lhasas,
Poodles, etc.) should be professionally groomed within four days of the sitting.
Dogs such as Siberian Huskies, Shelties, German Shepherds, etc. should be
thoroughly brushed the day before the sitting and preferably be bathed within a
week prior to the sitting, nails clipped, feet clean.  Make sure your dog has done all
its potty business right before the scheduled sitting.

If you are to be photographed with your pet, clothing should not be very
light-colored or very dark-colored, and with minimal pattern.  Medium tones and
solid colors work best.

STUDIO PORTRAITS:
You may be asked to assist in handling and positioning your pet.  Just outside
camera range, your presence will be a comfort to your pet in a strange environment.
We want this to be fun, so we will have treats and toys and relaxing breaks.  Expect
a session to last one to two hours, depending on the number of animals/people to
be photographed.

LOCATION PORTRAITS:
Whether the non-studio photo sitting will be done in your home or at a location
such as in a natural setting or  in a park (where permitted), a visit to the location
prior to the sitting will be required in order to get acquainted with the pet(s) and
the environment, in order to create the best possible atmosphere for the sitting day.
